Day of Caring 29

Postponed-----future details to be announced after June 1, 2020
Day of Caring is an annual United Way sponsored event offering hundreds of people the opportunity to volunteer at non-profit agencies in our community. Day of Caring began in 1992 as a way to help employees of local corporations interact with human service agencies and has grown since then. While United Way promotes community service volunteer efforts year-round, this day brings hundreds of people together to make a difference in their community.
The United Way of West Central Connecticut, serving the communities of Bristol, Burlington, Plainville and Plymouth, celebrated its 28th Annual Day of Caring on Friday, May 17, 2019, with over 500 volunteers completing projects at 21 sites at 17 non-profit organizations in the communities we serve! It was inspiring to witness the generosity and enthusiasm of so many volunteers – including 130 youth – working together to help our agencies.
