TRIAD conference to promote healthy living, healthy aging April 23

The West Central Connecticut TRIAD cordially invites all interested residents to “Stay Strong – Live Long” by attending a free conference on Wednesday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The conference will be held at the Bristol Public Library with registration at 9:30 a.m. and box lunch served.
This conference is an event to promote healthy living and healthy aging and will feature key-note speakers Dr. Margarita Reyes, Geriatric Medicine, and Miles Everett, Registered Dietician and RN from Bristol Hospital. There will also be yoga and Zumba Gold demonstrations, physical therapists, health screenings, healthy eating stations and more.

TRIAD brings together law enforcement, older adults, and social, business and community organizations to address the safety needs and concerns of older adults.

The West Central Connecticut TRIAD strives to strengthen community partnerships that help to improve the quality of life, provide access to social service programs, reduce crime and diminish the fear of crime among the older residents of Bristol, Burlington, Plainville and Plymouth/Terryville.
