Partner Funding Cycle Information
Our Goal: To align our funded agency programs with our impact areas and community initiatives.
The Allocations Committee of the United Way of West Central Connecticut has made its decisions about which organizations will proceed to the next phase of the process and will be allowed to submit a full proposal. If you are one of these organizations, congratulations!
The application and other important documents can be downloaded by clicking on the different links below. Don’t forget - we require a separate application for each program.
Please remember that submitting a full proposal does not guarantee that you will be funded and/or that your entire request will be matched. We encourage you to continue to seek funds elsewhere.
A representative from your organization (preferably the person who will be completing the actual application) is required to attend a mandatory Information Session & Proposal Training on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 9:00-10:30am at the Bristol Public Library, 5 High Street, Bristol (snow date - January 25th).
All applications are due by March 1st no later than 5:00pm to the United Way office. The Allocation Committee will review your application and make funding recommendations to the Board of Directors at our May meeting. You will be notified of our decision by June 1st.
Please download the following:
- Guidance Packet (This should serve as your guide throughout the application process)
- Cover Sheet for Program Application (Word Document - one of these needs to be filled out for each of the programs for which you are applying for funds)
- Program Application (Word Document - one of these needs to be filled out for each of the programs for which you are applying for funds)
- Program Budget Forms (Excel Document - one of these needs to be filled out for each of the programs for which you are applying for funds)
- Evaluation Form (This is given to you to help you understand what areas are weighed most heavily by the Allocation Committee during the decision-making process)
If you have questions or concerns that are not answered in the Guidance Packet, please contact Colleen at (860) 582-9559 ext. 406.
